was it just me or was he only in 5th gear? Did he still have all of 6th left? or did I miss a gear somewhere. That was a hell of a run.

I used to date a girl from a little town called Alamo about 100 miles north of Las Vegas. Theres a road race every year that goes on near there and the roads are nice and long like that. All sorts of cars compete and theres a whole series of races so I'm gonna guess hes in one of those races.

I hit 160 mph last Christmas morning. {Logged via Autotap}
And that was before the cam & tuning I just finished.
I was just thinking today, that the bird ought to be good for ~170mph now.

Most F-bodies (most cars honestly) don't make enough power to pull 6th because it is such an overdrive gear. Basically it won't put you in the right powerband to overcome the drag on the car. There is more to it than what I wrote, but that is the short of it.
