disregard my initial statement.. I was gonna say.. we had a track here awhile back telling me i was doing ten's when the car was bone stock.. thought maybe that track had the same issue our track had.
The track has since been torn down for assisted living buildings.

Carb= 4 different air fuel ratios. AKA more air needed.
Injection= 1 air fuel ratio. AKA less air needed.
Carb= Harder to tune and dial in. Have to change jets for weater and alittude.
Injection= Computer pretty much takes care of all that for you.
I know pelnty of guys on Dominators that say injection is better and these are the guys in singe digets. They just like to do things simple and old school.
Why also do you think Pro Stock is talking about going fuel injection in a few years and a lot of the big name builders in that class want them to???

trust me, I LOVE carbs, and I Love fuel injection. I sit on both sides of the fence because of what I do for work.
We deal with both. When it comes to restrictions, Fuel Injetion will win out hopefully that you are running a decent manifold. biggest thing for tuning is simple. Work in Alpha N. You tune for only Idle and WOT. Pretty simple eh? None of that street car bullshit were you worry about 1/4 and 1/2 throttle.
Anyways, I dont want to ruin your thread, but trust me, not all carb setups are the holy grail... although the twin dominators on an NHRA Pro stock flows prettttyyyy good
Nice car by the way! Great times too!
