2008 Viper gets a big jump in power. A 95 hp jump up to 600hp an 560tq. Up to 8.4 liter of displacement. They also gave it a bigger scoop, an bigger vents on the hood. The Z06 just ain't going to be beating them no more without of good increase in power.

The wheels look like a c5 zo6's with the spokes split. It's still gonna be a dodge, and the gas mileage is a third of what the c6 zo6 has. 8.4L now, damn. The ls7 only needed 7L to obtain 500hp whereas the viper needed 8.3L. The day I spend that much money on a dodge is the day I let a blind man shave my *******.

I love it, change the wheels and it'd be perfect.

With a 8.4 liter V10 that thing has got to have a huge amount of torque right off the line.

Wheels are horrible. Everything else is simply badass! I'm kinda glad Dodge released this Viper because it will force GM to produce the S/C Z06.

Dang, that's so awesome HP for a production car. I wonder, not that I ever want it to stop, is there going to be a limit to HP in production cars? It just seems to be climbing non stop!! Crazy!!

Hate the wheels, the rest is ridiculously sick though. I saw a white convertible Viper today, the 500hp body style, and it honestly got my blood pumping. Dont get me wrong, a C6 Z06 is pure sex on wheels, but there is just something about a Viper. I'd love to own one some day even if I have to go way used and pick up a 90s one.

Damn that Viper just looks bad ***, im sure they will have nicer looking wheels come production time. I really love that hood. Guys, you are all forgetting one thing, even if the Vette did come out with a 600hp version, the Viper will always have the "WOW" factor over the Vette for the rarity of a Viper over a Vette. You just dont see many vipers running around compared to Vette's. I wonder what the price tag will be on this bad boy??
