Default GM Parts Direct never delivered or refunded

seriously a terrible place to order from. they never delivered a simple order from Jan 27th and have yet to refund my dollars despite many polite requests. And customer service is non existent. avoid GM Parts Direct. shipping is way overcharged by them too. Order from a more reputable place.

and make sure to call and ensure that it is the correct part. I ordered parts for an 07 silverado from them once. The description said cover with fog light, and the part number matched the estimate part number. So I ordered and go figure, no fog light hole. Took me 2 days, but they finally agreed to swap out for the correct one.

Legally companies are NOT supposed to charge your credit card until the product is shipped! That is what I was told by a Visa rep. when I went through the same sort of thing a while back

P/n's arent set in stone, gm rolls them as do all companies, they can only send what the new number goes to once they run out of the original p/n, just saying...

well the covers they sent me wont work because the passenger side valve cover only has 1 vacuum port when i my originals had 2(one for TB and the other that feeds the rear pcv line that goes to the drivers cover) and then the drivers cover has a metal nipple instead of the grommet that the rear pcv valve goes into. did i get the ls6 covers? instead of ls1's?

Their shipping prices are outrageous! I spent 25 dollars on shipping just for a clutch master/slave cylinder and 12 bucks for a emergency brake cable.

Yeah your car is just like mine, but apparently the newer ls1's (2000,1 on) have a different setup like you received. If your not in a major rush, I am converting my ls1 pcv system to the newer pcv system in which the valley pan, pvc system and valve covers are different. I will have a set like you need for sale just so their not in my way, you have a week or so?

PS; I don't think gmparts direct is perfect but unless you know a competent gm parts person at your local dealer their as good as it gets, the prices they charge to ship are based off of UPS/FEDEX rates which are high so they just pass it on, they don't set the prices.

These are the newer style LS1 valve covers which I am going to, the ones i have now have TWO fittings on the passenger side, one on each end.

so i assume ill have to purchase the ls6 valley cover that has the breather integrated(run a vacuum line from breather to intake) into it and then just cap off the drivers rear vacuum port and then run my original vacuum hose from my TB to the passenger side valve cover vacuum port?

Their prices are great IMO but as stated above their shipping was insane. Given that and the fact their customer service really is non-existant (not even a real phone number) + no real guarentee's on stock or how long it will take them to ship. I checked Scoggin Dickey Parts, skipped the headache and just ordered from SDPC.
