Buying my 1st f-bod, need advice
So I will be buying my first Ls1 powered camaro. It is a 98 z28 m6, it has 65000 miles and couple of mods. I am not exactly sure what but I do have some idea of what they are, so here it goes.
Intake
exhaust
zr1 wheels(the aftermarket black ones not the ones on the SS)
cross drilled rotors
ceramic brakes
TB
NGK's w/ MSD wires
HP Tuners
LS7 Clutch Kit
The guy is asking for $9000, is it a good deal. I really want the car but it is my first time buying an f-bod and not sure about pricing, and I dont want to get ripped off. The main reason I say this is because I am looking at the kbb value and he is asking for way over what its worth. Let me know what you guys think and if using kbb is a good or bad idea, thanks.

if its WAY overpriced, then don't bother with it. if he doesnt lower the price and make it a fair deal, then keep looking. its not like they are super rare.

I think the reason he is way over the KBB value is because he's counting in his upgrades to the car. With what you have listed, that's a good 2 to 3 grand in upgrades. Talk with the guy and see if you can get him to lower the price on it, which he may or may not.
Idk if it's a good deal or not, i mean its got low miles & upgrades but its a 98 model.

yeah try and negotiate and don't ever take the asking price. As far as the value for the car goes, not too bad considering it has an LS7 clutch kit. kbb is the asking price for a certain car and not the value that they are actually being sold for. u can find a more accurate estimate at edmunds.com
