You need to get a 3/8 dissconnect tool you put it around the line where it connects to the fuel rail, and push up on the line and it will pop out.

buy the metal ones do not buy the PT tool brand from autozone the wall of the tool is too thin and it won't work.

I bought mine at pepboys but you can get them at pretty much any auto parts store.

This is the style I got, you need to look for it in 3/8's(for LS1, not sure about LT1)

i never disconnect mine... I just pop off the fuel rail with the injectors left in the rail and lay it aside until I need to put it back on.

but ya you need the disconnect tool to do it. Never bought it heh.

x2 worked for me also. put the tool into the fuel line, push it in, keep pushing while pulling on that line, and pull the other line it's connected to the other way. so you're pulling in opposite directions if that makes sense. it should pop right off.

This is the one I have. I've used the plastic ones, while they do work, they are a little more tempermental. The metal one is literally 2 seconds and done. Easy Breezy!!
