changed oil, now "oil change light" comes on?

changed oil, now "oil change light" comes on? Ok, I really didnt know where to put this so I put it here. I changed the oil in my car a few days ago. I used 5 qts of mobile 1 fully synthetic and 1 qt of the lucas oil stabilizer (thought i would try it out). I also changed my oil filter with an extended guard fram oil filter. Everything went smooth, took it around the block and checked it for leaks, everything was fine. now today my "oil change" light comes on? It will come on and stay on for a few seconds to a minute. I dont know why or what to do? any help is appreciated. thanks

To reset your oil change light:
-Turn the car to "On" (don't start it)
-Press down and let go of the gas 3 times
-Turn the key to "Off"
That should take care of the problem

the "change oil" light is based on mileage and load on the engine....has nothing to do with the condition of the oil.
if yo don't reset it...it will go off according to when the computer tells you to change the oil...not when you actually HAVE to change the oil

can a tuner recalibrate the calculations by 1.67 because I'm sure it was made with std oil in mind, I like to run my mobil1 oil and filter to 5k instead of 3k.
