Stock LS1 f-bodies will do 162 mph before the fuel cuts off. If you have the computer reprogrammed to remove the top speed limiter, they will do about 169-170 mph.

I would think that I wouldnt want to be doing over 170 in an F-Body for aerodynamics sake. But I would say it would defiantly do 170+.

Yes it will but I doubt you could stay there, unless you got some serious power and lower gears.
One is wind drag & the other is your motor would probably overheat before that speed. It is said that Lingenfelter twin turbo f-bodies will do over 200mph.

according to the tables that you calc your rpm and speed out of when changing gears you could get to the 200 mark but i sirously doubt the car would make it there. the fastest ive gone is 140 and thats before hitting 4th i usally dont like to go into 4th so i let off when i top 3rd theres no sign of slowing up there but id imagine anything too much past that point gets a bit harder to accomplish with ll the wind resistance. there was a post a while back about a guy who tok his stock car +1 bottle of nos to get over the 200 mark and he runied his engine i sure as hell wouldent go there in a stock fbody 140 is kinda stupid imo

I've seen an indicated 153 (still pulling, ran out of road) with the T-tops out and the windows down (lots of drag). 170-ish (high 160's) is a pretty good guess.

Yeah the tables say a stock geared 6 speed will get to 264?, yeah ok, the gearing makes it possible if you had close to 1000hp?? one hell of a lot of road and a test dummy in the car. But there is no way you are going to get going that fast, you start eating up so much road, so fast, that it takes a while to get over 160, But theoretically, if you had enough road with the hp these things have stock, you can could get it over 160, with a few things done, 170+
