Angry My LS1 is toast

I got my LS block back for the machine shop.

From being:

-hot tank
-honed
-cam bearings installed
-THEN INSPECTED

Come to find out I have a crack in the cylinder wall and in the coolant valley at is located on the other side of the wall.

Shouldn't they have inspected it first? If nothing else, as soon as it was clean?

hmm. they took it apart and didn't look at it BEFORE they stuck it in the wash? u sure they didn't drop it or anything like that? if there was a crack on the cylinder wall, wouldn't you notice something in the oil?
