Default Start car w/out Front O2s?

So I got my new headers in today and will have them installed by Sunday. I couldn't find the vette rear O2s anywhere locally so I had to order them. With the three-day weekend, i won't get them until Tuesday and I don't know if I can wait; or at least I don't want to! Would it do any harm to fire it up and give a couple revs without the O2s in? I jsut want to hear the open headers before hooking up the catback.
thanks.

I would wait. When I started my car with the open headers it was just loud as hell and made every thing in the car feel like it was going to shake apart. As far as doing any damage probably not but not worth it in my book.

it does make everything seem like it's about to fall apart, and it's loud as hell.... but i would have stayed with it if i could (but i would need ear protection, jus to drive)

it won't hurt anything if it's just for a few seconds... if you let it go into closed loop then you will throw a bunch of o2 codes and it will run like poop

you don't. I merely said your question wasn't rhetorical and anyone who doesn't agree should speak up so we might ridicule them.

Fire it up man!!! Theres no better feeling after laboring for hours on your car. It sends chills down your spine and a big fat smile on your face. I drove mine for 2 days on open headers. Definitely the most fun ive had with the camaro lol

I'm not so sure I'd start my car without the front O2's in place, but I completely understand wanting to hear your ride with Open Headers.

If you're interested, here is a friend's Z28 with only Jet Hot Longtubes in place. Its ******' LOUD!! You'll see in the video that we do have the O2 Sensors installed in the collectors.
