Question Fuels filter question

Before I change my fuel filter do I need to relieve the pressure in the fuel rail. Or do I need to do it only to release the air in the line after I'm done?

Do it before you disconnect the fuel filter.

Won't really matter. It will leak any pressure off at the fitting when you are taking it loose. Put a pan under it to keep it from running all over the ground.

Remove old filter.

Install new filter.

Start engine.

Drive car.

It's that easy.

If the engine has been run recently, you can pull the gas cap to release pressure if you want.
