Looking at 2002 Z28 SS clone..ADVICE Please!
Again I was looking into a 2002 z28 ss clone, it seems a bit overpriced to me for having 123,000miles on it..What do you think????
I havnt seen under the hood yet or even been there to see it yet, what do you think I should look for ?
Any advice would be great.!!!
There are a lot of things I like and dislike, I like the white and it looks to be pretty clean. but I do not like dealers who try and run something over on me "Z28/SS very rare" and "Alpine White" for the exterrior color
HELP ME OUT GUYS IM FBODY SHOPPING AGAIN!!!!!!

I dont think it is a clone. It looks to have Dual/Dual exhaust on it also.Get the Vin# and go to SLP Performace and let then run the Vin# they will tell u if it is or is'nt.U can also look @ the pass.door to see if it says Moified by SLP.All SS's start as base model Z-28's.The price is not that bad but see if u can get them down some.

I just spoke to SLP and it is real #5458 is the build # and it came w/ Dual/Dual Exhaust & Chrome 17x9.5 ZR-1 Rims so that should answer your question and it has the 335hp package also which is the exhaust.

Having said that, the price isn't bad to start with so you probably wouldn't get much off, since someone else will likely pay close to that amount if you don't.
Yep, wheels are C5 style for sure, and the rotors (at least the one I could see in the pic) are definitely aftermarket drilled & slotted. As for the exhaust, all we can see are the tips which are definitely SLP dual/dual style, but the muffler could have certainly been changed to a Flowmaster at some point. You'll have to check that out in person to tell.

Thanks guys, ya well I figured the dealer says they or she wont drop a penny cuz either way it probably would be taking away from the dealer.....from waht I have heard down payment would have to be about 5k which I dont quite have so, onward with the SEARCH for another fbody..!!
