You'll be fine just watch the speed bumps. Might need to trim the bump stops up if the hit to much.

Alignment, front camber will be affected. And and adjustable panhard rod to center the axle.

X2

And it will suck w/o a good shock too (read Koni). I am lowered 1.25" and that is as low as I would go but 2" does look good

I honestly think 2" is too much on these cars, I got the pro kit which is 1.2" and bought some slp bilstein shocks. I hope to have it installed soon, im not expecting any problems but something always happens lol

Are there any supporting mods to lowering the car besides an APR?

I am in the works of doing this to my 00 SS M6 and after lots of reading and research I am stuck on Strano 1.2 kit and Koni 4/3 or 4/4 shock set, I have the bilsteins on my car now and like them but it seems they dont have the dampning provisions that the koni's have which is a big part of the lowering springs, with that said i am either doing the fully on car adjustable koni's or the 4/3 set but with a difference of 10x seems kinda foolish not to go the 4/4 route just in case i ever want to adjust the rear shocks on the car sam strano a sponsor has these in kits with shocks and he also has an APH so u can get it all in one shot

Well, I have the slp eibach/bilstein set up with lca relocation brackets and they are set all the way down parallel to the road. I have 18"x9.5" rims with 275/35 all around. If its me (I weigh 190) and 2 girls in the car my stock pancake y-pipe scrapes on every little bump. Depending on where the 2nd person is, in my case behind the passenger b/c im 6'6" and theres no room behind me, if I take a turn quick my rear passenger tire will rub on the wheel well. Car looks so awesome with this set up but the 2+2 feature is now just a 2 seater.

Yeah my gf is pissed that I told her 3 people can't be in it anymore. I wanna take the back seats out and rig it up to be a bench. Its my first T/A, I'd rather not sell the seats just bc of how much I love these cars.

After an inch and half the suspension geometry is ruined on these cars. 2" drop is for looks, 1" drop is for handling. Shocks still make or break the ordeal.

I have KYB Adjustable's and BMR Springs. I have a full suspension also. Love the look and really rides a hell of alot better then you think. If money wasn't an issue though I would have konis 4x4's and strano's on her!!

mine was lowered 1". ive been scraping on everything. just got headers on it and i dont want to destroy them so im putting stockers in. got the rear out but stripped out a damn torx bolt in the front under the hood. so right now the front is 1" lower than the rear haha.

imo, 2" is crazy! but if you dont have to worry about bumps, lowered f bodys look great.

If you get some 18" wheels with some meatier tires its gonna raise your car up some, so lowering it wont affect it as much. And the end result is gonna be better then just lowering it.

im lowered with BMR 1.25 spring and im rollin on 18x9.5 Z06 rims and i love how my car looks now. It looks 10000x better. I somewhat scrape on speed bumps, but i think whats scraping is that POS clamp i have for my exhaust. i plan on ditching out my catback for TSP Duals..
