I'd agree, if you're not going to be spraying any nitrous or adding more compression via a head swap or similar, then the NGK TR55's would be perfect for you!

For a stock or bolt on engine, AC Delco Iridiums are best. Thats what I run in my car, and they have been great. They provide the best spark due to their fine wire design, and are also designed to last around 75,000 miles, which is a nice benefit.

How to tell you have the Wrong plugs.

1.) Is the plug cheap junk?

2.) Does it have 2 or 4 grounding prongs?

If you answered yes to either question then you have the wrong plug.

There's plenty of good plugs out there. Personally, I prefer nothing fancy since most of the new fangled plugs are just marketing schemes anyway. My preferance has been with Autolite Race plugs with the cut back straps. You can't kill them and they are made in the USA.

Just went with the NGK TR-55s prior to having it tuned and it's running beautifully.

Just put in NGK's person before me put in Bosch Plat +4's and the idle was rough.
Now it purrs like a kitten.
