Just stay current reading threads around the site I just got my first ls1 about a month ago and learned slot here so far... As for places for parts... All the sponsors on here!!! You can search for local shops under the vendors tab... My ta is stock so far but I'm doing full exhaust first already got my lts but now I need cats and mufflers to run custom dual next will be a lid and the intake/tb... Just read here and learn lots of build threads etc!!! Enjoy

Intake and full exhaust is the first thing that should be done. And put a better clutch and slave/master cylinders in it. Also do your research on this site about the "free mods" they are small but help out.

Twin turbo, nitrous, 2.11 gears, spare tires on the back, drag slicks up front, painted stock exhaust manifolds, and pep boys racing floor-mats and seat covers.
Should be good to run 15s.
