Default Cat Back Exhaust

Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions on what Cat-Back exhaust system looks the best on a z28 camaro. I am leaning towards the magnaflow however i am not sure if i should go with the dual tips or the standard pipes. Its $200.00 difference. Either way, do others have pictures or suggestions on what looks better then the other?

those big balony tips are for rednecks with glasspacks and 4x4's. go with the dual tips, they look way better.

I went with the SLP Loudmouth I with the 4" double walled tips. I think it looks great because it gets rid of the big muffler behind the rear end. The rear of the car looks so much cleaner.

If you want the best looking exhaust tips i guess, hands down corsa. but your talking about 1,000 dollar system..

Magnaflow is a good quality system cuz its stainless steel, and its not too loud. But i wasnt impressed with magnaflow. I dumped it for TSP Duals and will never look back. People like magnaflow cuz its a stainless steel for a good price. But lots of people dont like it cuz of the tips, and the fact that its quiet.

The only catback i would buy right now is hooker or borla.

SLP LM1. It is the loudest, lightest, and best flowing cat-back out there. Best looking to since there is no big ugly muffler.

+1 no tips and hiding but there will still be pipes and junk hanging down. I say dump it at the axle and get rid of all the heat sheilds, pipes and all! That is how I roll..

On Camaro's I prefer the standard pipes with one exit on each side, chambered center exit or dumped under the car. If you're going magnaflow I'd get the standard system, it won't look "redneck-ish" as long as the car is kept up. I suggested that system to a friend of mine for his Z28-SS conversion and he loves it, especially after kooks LT's and no cats. No reason to spend the extra money on dual tips imho

This isn't my friends car but a similar setup

+ 1 on the fitment issues, although that doesn't really bother me. I love the Magnaflow's sound, and often receive compliments from others regarding it. I think the single tips look fine. And as far as the "redneck" remark nova guy made, it probably wouldn't matter which exhaust tips he has on his car. Unless there's much more to his T/A than his sig indicates, I highly doubt that very many people he races see his car from behind!
