Default a4 stock converter

What's the best speed for me to roll race from with a stock a4 with stock converter?

28mph gives a nice kickdown to 1st

i would think youd want to go as slow as possible and keeping traction since first is pretty strong in these cars.

Yep, for a 3.23 car you will get the strongest initial hit from a 28-29mph roll (max speed where you'll get a downshift to 1st).

What would a stall converter do? Any gains from a roll? Or from a stop?

This is good to know cause when I was driving back home yesterday from work I was driving in the highway and was testing roll speeds, tried 30, 40, and 50 and I really liked the 28ish roll start alot more.
