If we are talking about launching at the track or under certain "important street encounters" than you need to step up to a Drag Radial IMO.
There is only so much a street tire can handle, a good converter is gonna surpass those street tires almost immediately.

Weather defianetly does play a big role, but with that converter and street tires no matter what your not hooking. Put Dr's on it and it really is trial and error. My fathers car has had 4 different converters in it and all of them liked being launched differently. Every converter is different. Try at idle, 1000, 1500, 2000 till you find what works best.

I can't wait for nice weather to come back so I can take my car to the track and see what my car can run with stall converter and a few other boltons I have put on my car
