Default LS3 swap questions

I was wondering what all goes into the swap? What all is interchangable? And what all would I need to buy? Or is it just some motor mounts and a weekend? I am trying to figure out a game plan. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Last months Camaro Performer has an article that gives you all the info you need. May 2012 is the one I think. Great info.

ull need to swap out the reluctor wheel (if not go with a lingenfelter 58x to 24x box) front cam sprocket to an ls2 sprocket, racetronix knock sensor harness, racetronix map sensor extension harness, racetronix cam sensor extension harness, put ur stock knock sensors to the side of the block, since u have an 02 u should have a fuel pressure regulator built in your fuel tank, use your current crank and map sensor do not use the ls3 crank sensor or ls3 map sensor and if ur going with ls3 injectors buy some connectors that go from ev6 to ev1 theyre on ebay for about 25 bucks for all 8, btw im doing all this to my ls1 vette happy modding

I just did it. You need a 24x on the crank a 1x cam sproket. A ls1 cam and knock sensor extension/ adapter, a ls1 map extension thats all i can remembe. I am having problems with bank 2 misfire but it all in just have to figure the misfire out. You can also use a lingenfelter coverter box if you dont wont to use a 24x and a 1x. If you want you can call me at my work we do motor swaps and performance parts and i can tell you everything you need then. It was easy to do. O you also need to buy some injector adapters from lingenfelter. I used a cable tb a fast 102 and a tsp 100 mm maf and ftp 104 lid. I bought some engine and trans poly mounts from ws6 store. Also if you use a fast intake you will need a fast fuel line that goes from your fuel hard line to your fuel rail. I also installed a racetronix fuel pump to make sure it will pump enough

One thing I didn't see in the article was any mention of an upgrade to the fuel pump.

Ok cool thanks guys. But one question what's the difference between the 24x and 58x? And I was planning on getting bigger injectors from a sponsors site will I still need the adapters? And other then that it's mainly just fuel pump and adapters/sensors?
