the texas speed 228r is always a great choice. has great power throughout the band, nice lope too. and if you add boost, youll still have a failry reasonable boost cam. that is why i always recommend it. then again if i did it all over again id just go with the brutespeed blower cam from the get go.

a good shop can do a ls cam swap in 8 hrs.maybe consider doing the swap your self with some help from some friends.go to Texas Speed and look at some different cams.you need to tell them every thing about your car.how many miles are on your engine ?

they say the stag 2 5.3 heads with a bump in compression and that cam, with a little smack will make a nasty setup.

be patience and save up to get all the parts you will need.you should get some new lifters and some rocker trunnion bearings.get a new oil pump and a ls2 timing chain.you will need a retune if you add heads later.

No smaller than a 228 cam IMO.. Thats a good all around size for a fun, daily driver street car.

No problem, just let me know I can do whatever you would like as far as what you want it to do.

We use Lunati valve springs and Brian Tooley valve spring kits here for 9/10 of our cam packages, but we do offer others.
