Default Want More Power

I have a 99 Ram Air TA. Current mods include a G2 Performance package (Air Intake Lid, K&N Filter, Hurst shifter), computer chip, and 4.10 gears. I want squeeze out a little more hp with budget in mind. I am considering a beefier intake manifold and a mass air flow sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions for fairly cheap upgrades? I am getting around 365 now, and I would like to get it a little closer to 400.

Thanks. I am looking at a Holley brand lightweight aluminum intake manifold. Might think about some new cams from G2 Racing.

Fairly cheap, huh? How about this.

1) Free Mods - Free

2) Cut out - $30 / install - $30-$40

3) Home port TB - Free / Buy one - $150-$200

4) Super Sucker Ram Air - $150-$200

5) ASP underdrive pulley - $200

6) LS6 Intake - $300 used / $400 new / Should be able to install yourself.

7) Long Tube Headers and Y pipe - $600-$1500 / + Possible instalation fee.
Not all that cheap but that would complete your bolt-ons. Also, check your
state for emissions requirements.

Possible alternative.

1) Nitrous- Dry Kit (100 shot) - $450-500

Now just see what your budget allows. I tried to order them according to price and according to ease of instalation. However, this does not take into account suspention, chasis and tire upgrades. Hope this helps.

ROTFL ... that is exactly what I was thinking. Where did you come up with that random number?

let me guess ... you did: "base = 320 hp ... plus lid = 335 ... plus intake = 345 ... plus "CHIP" and filter ... 365." Sorry boss that isn't how it works.

BTW, There is no such thing as a "chip" for these cars, you need to do complete reprograming of the PCM ... which cannot even be remotely viewed as a chip ... and "does it have 2 cams" ... are you serious???

how about a turbo. Or longtubes and a bottle and a good converter with sticky tires always helps as well.
