Default Not as loud as before?

Is it me getting used to the v8 or is there some fuckery going on In my car that I don't know about . I have long tubes with y pipe and catback. Is there a holy grail of pipes that takes the cake. Or is my set good . Have you ever felt the same?

you're just getting used to it or you are losing hearing. You can put SLP Loudmouth 1 on it and you'll get every bit of volume you want. But it comes with terrible rasp when paired with LT's and ORY that might drive you and your neighbors crazy.

Thanks I'm still running the stock 853 heads for now. I am wanting to pick up a pair of the AI 223cc Dart/RHS heads though. Just a matter of scraping the money together.

My thoughts exactly. I really got used to my 'straight exhaust' side pipes on a '71 Roadrunner I owned in my much younger days. Either that or it was the Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath concerts that screwed up my hearing

Yeah. I don't know but I've been driving with the windows down a lot and I'm not getting the same feeling. I remember driving up state a while back with a friend from work. On the road i had to almost yell to him because of how loud it was.
