Im looking for a HCI package that would bring me to about 500+hp and be good for a weekend car and doin some runnin around here and there , also would like to add a nitrous system and bump it up to 600-650 on spray , besides a 9" rear , better clutch what should i be getting and what hci package should i look into I also dont have alot of money $2000/$2500 for hci package i know the clutch is goin to be $800- $1000 rear end i can find used for like $1500-$1800 and the nx kit i want is $1100
really looking for in put on a head cam intake kit i should be looking at for a reliable 500hp car

I think the heads/cam kits from TSP was like $2,000 with shipping.. It doesnt come with gaskets so you need to figure stuff like that in. Also you will need bigger injectors and a tune.

Forged rods and pistons and the stock crank is all you'll need for a heads/cam/150 shot set up. For the abuse your gonna put it through on spray I'd definately look into a rebuild at those miles. You don't want to throw a bunch of new parts in it and then have a major failure and possibly destroy the new parts. I'd do rearend, rebuild, spray if nothing else, then build on later. Not sure what intake set up your running but a FAST would be good. You'll definately need injectors and a tune, driveshaft to make the 9" work, you'll want a SFI flywheel for that kind of power, I'd change the slave while its out, whichever route you go, timing chain and oil pump, gaskets, head bolts.
