Default Next Mod help

So, I just bought a 02 WS6, and am looking to continue the build. So far i have bought Texas speed 1"7/8ths headers, off road y, 90mm fast intake man, 90mm throttle body, 85mm maf, slp air lid, underdrive pulley, msd wires, sub frame connectors and adjustable lca's. I'm thinking tranny work but not sure. Wanting to make it a strip/weekend warrior. Any input would help.

It's an auto. I went that route figuring I'd have more consistent times at the track.

Most people would say its time for a converter then. I have a manual so I don't have any personal experience with them, but there are tons of people on here that have them. The problem is that everyone has their own opinion of what is good and what isn't. Just from reading a little bit, 3600-4000 stall seems to be the most popular.

Get a converter in there pronto, it makes a world of difference, Yank, Circle D, Vigilante, PTC are all great brands.

Would a ss4000 be to much for the street? Also, what rear end would work best.. I don't know much about them and from what I have read, it seems like people go with a Ford 9 or a Mosier 10 or 12. Any thoughts?

Underdrive pulley is great mod, next shift kit and converter if you want to launch hard and reliably/repetitively at the track

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm thinking about going through finishline transmission for the build. I'm going to wait untill winter for the rear end/ heads cam setup. There isn't a lot of time left up here for the season, and less down time=more fun time!

So, I was busy this winter and was in the buying and building mood and went all out. Swapped out the 10 bolt for a moser 12 bolt, stock width and retained the eletronics, with a weld on wolfe anti roll bar. I had finishline transmission build me a level 7 with a rossler trans brake. I tossed in a custom built multi disc circle d 3600 nitrous convertor and I'm currently finishing up my ls2 swap. Top it all off with a max effort cam and vavle train setup, nitrous outlet direct port setup into a 102lsxr and hopefully it will move out a little better then when I bought it in september of last year.
