Default Poll: Which spark plugs to use?

Just wondering what the best plug is to use in my 99 SS? All stock execpt for FRA, TB bypass, SLP LM, SLP lid and bellow.

My care is also a '99 SS and my mod list is pretty close to yours, and I'm using and like the NGK TR55's. I may give the Bosch platinum plugs a try next time for grins.

Go with the NGK TR 55's. They're inexpensive, reliable, and proven. Don't buy into that platinum crap. Platinum's aren't the best for our high compression/output engines. Only advantage to a platinum is supposed longer life... but what the hell changing plugs on these things isn't hard at all.

i don't persoanlly know about this but soposedly split fire where the best spark plugs for the lt1 engines so they might be good for ours to.

i just bought some ngk tr55...cheap...apparently these platinum plugs run more risk of causing detonation due to the high temp of the plug. however it is said they will last longer...

I had TR55 IX (irridium) in for a little over a year and 14K. When I took them out the gap was huge. Changed to TR55 copper when I did the headers.
