I have a 2001 Camaro SS LS1 six speed with cat back exhaust and a tune on it by Frost. What is the best bang for my bucks for HP? A lot of people give me ideas but I wanted to here from the experts!!!! Thanks

Long Tube Headers and quality Y-Pipe. I think it really depends more on what you plan to do with your car. Tires are actually a great upgrade that can be tailored to one's needs.

Would like to be in the 11's. I just had my second child and budget isn't huge and will have to do one thing at a time. I'm sure I'll never sell the car. So time not a huge issue just wanted best or quickest for the money.

Well Nitrous is the best bang per buck but some don't want nitrous.

Since your car is M6 I would be saving for a better rear end. The stock rear can't even handle the power of a stock ls1 much less a modded one.
Auto cars are more forgiving

You should most definitely list your hp/tq goals along with a general budget idea. All supplied info helps!

I would say;
New Air Box and LT Headers should be the first two things to look at along with tires! (unless, of course, you head straight for NOS)
From there;
X Pipe ---> True Duel Exhaust, FAST 90 Intake, Ported Throttlebody.
Next Step;
Head / Cam package, Timing chain, pulleys, oil pump, valve springs/seats, hardened rods. Then take it all to a trusted Tuner and have gramps make sure everything is functioning the way an LS should!

That's my .02 and close to my personal upgrade path.
