Default Spark plugs ls1 camaro

Ok so i cant tell if im retarded or idk but ive been trying for 2 hours and cant get the passenger side spark plugs out. I tried moving the coil pack but the last bolt wont come loose cause theres a hose right above it blocking it. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to make this any easier or for getting the coil pack off cause this is going nowhere.

You need a swivel socket for that bolt.

All you need is a small, ratcheting box end 10mm wrench for that last coil rail bolt. Removal becomes surprisingly easy with this tool.

As a matter of fact, I didn't even put the rear one back in when I put the coils back on.

The back coil mounting bolt is a pita for sure. the gear wrench is the ticket though. Expect some blood!

There is lots of info available on how to change plugs. Do some searching.

It's really not as bad as people say. The hardest part for me was getting the original boots to pull off the plugs.

This is consistently the hardest part for me as well. The coil rail bolt is no issue at all with that proper tool, not even a challenge really. But plug boots that haven't been touched for 100k miles.....those are a pain.

Tell me about it. I replaced the plus/wires in my grand prix that has 131k miles.....still the OEM ones. I think I broke 4 out of the 6 wires getting them off of the plug. Lot's of cussing involved and I was literally sitting on top of my engine.

Yeah there's not too much better then breaking plug wires. I helped my kid change his with 80k miles on it and broke 3 wires. There was zero fun in that, outside of the beer drinking of course

I had to use a wrench the first time and left that bolt off since then.
