Stupid Theard in SRTforums.com I would have to say that the LS1 powered cars are probably the most hated cars on that board. It's amazing how miseducated some of those people are, but I won't go as far as saying all of them. they are all immature kids... well more then 80 percent of them are.

Damn *** Pirates!!!! All that turbo(SRT4) power and can't hook worth a ****, whats the point if you can't put it to the ground, all a bunch of dyno racing faggets!! **** slap a turbo on our motor and see what U get, your *** handed to ya!!!!

Whenever I see a thread like that, I usually think that they are all trying to comfort one another by talking about reasons why they don't want an LS1 because secretly they wish they drove one instead of a damn Neon, but they got stuck with a neon because of the F&F craze, or insuance, or gas, or price, or....yada yada something other than just driving what you really want.
And when they throw out the whole mullet thing, any credibility that they may have had is completely gone..........I have never in my life personally seen and LS1 driver with a mullet.....plenty of third gens though
But then again, I've seen a couple of gay guys in a Neon SRT (not kidding!!) so maybe when someone talks about how nice the SRT-4 is I'll just make a joke about how they are all gay instead of talking about the car, like they seem to like to do

they're just jealous cause for $22K they could have gotten a new LS1, not the SRT-4 they bought.
2 doors + V8 > 4 doors and 4 cylinders +turbo
I do agree the 03 cobra is one of the best bang/buck new cars now... just too bad its $11,000 more than a Z28 was new

Wow. I cannot believe I just wasted that much time over there. What a bunch of *** clowns. How could anyone love a Neon that much. Who cares if it is fast. At the end of the day, they still drive a Neon home.

FYI: According to them they don't drive Neons. They drive an SRT-4 and it's not a Neon I'm sorry, but if you can't even live with what you bought, how can you talk about it being so great??? Now, being a Neon is not all necessarily bad, obviously Dodge built a decent car out of it but it is a Neon. Deal with it.

theres a guy in my town that calls every body out to race. Vettes, f-bodys, mustangs. he doesnt care he thinks his car is the shiznit (drives a 
SRT-4). In one night he raced my SS, got whooped. came back talkin trash to my friend with a '02 Z28, got owned. then later that night called out a friend with a '71 SS Nova that runs 10.70s. we found out later that he said he thought it was slow since it was "OLD". the only thing i've ever heard of him beating is a couple of '80s 5.0s (and numerous ricers but thats a given) .yet every weekend he'll pull up saying something like "you wanna run that peice of crap". by the way him and the other 2 guys in town that drive srt-4s are like 17-18 yrs old.

heh, even my bud who's building up an SRT-4 calls his car a neon. I just can't wait till I get my engine and car assembled to start walking his car on the roads.
