Default Wierdest plug I have ever seen.

Heh, I was cruising my normal forums when I happened upon an interesting write up on modular fords, about a new spark plug. Take a look

Link to modular

These plugs are unreal....no gapping, 10-20 % power gains, and make the engine burn more efficiently.

And another link to the site that started it all for me

Aren't those the plugs that are being installed from the factory in the new Ford F150's?

I registered over there and sent the strictly performance dude a pm to see if they had any info on LS1 applications, and if they had done any tests. Hopefully he'll get back to me tomorow.

I would be cautious with this one guys. I'm sure most of us all remember how "Splitfire" plugs revolutionized spark plug performance And some of you may even remember we already have been a similair route back in the 70's they had "ring fire" plugs that also did without a ground strap.

I hear the heards of sheep coming now

IT seems pretty legit, as one of the guys on there dyno tuned them on a heat soaked cobra at my local Ford dealership and mad exactly 10 and 10. His name is Richo on SVTP and you can find his dyno sheets scanned in on his little thread from SVTP.

Here is the link to the dyno results.

The F-150 spark plugs look like a sturup for a boot. Long and slender.

Very odd, but very cool if they work.

I'll test them out on a LS1 if you guys buy the set for me.

$89 a set doesn't sound too bad for ~10HP

It doesn't look like there is a LS1 plug, or for any Chevrolet yet according to the website. I wonder why.
