Magnaflow, Hooker, GMMG, true duals? I've read that almost anything other than the loudmouth sounds good with headers.

I have the same set up and the rasp is bad. If you want to go the cheap way out you could do a "dynomouth" set up. that would reduce alot of the rasp but not all. Just get a dynomax bullet and replace the resonator. I think the bullett is around $30.00

Well if you care less about flow you could get flowmaster. Mine sounds really good but im soon replacing it with corsa or gmmg. I want a good flowing cat-back.

Don't even bother with swapping in a bullet.. It'll be just as loud and annoying..

I have a Borla XR-1 muffler for sale.. This will cure all of your rasp issues, and quiet the car a ton..

Trust me..
Check the for sale section..

True duals. Can get a system that dumps at the axle pretty cheap, and sell the y-pipe/loudmouth to help fund it. Will sound many many times better, deaper, NO rasp, and still be LOUD.........FOr a cheap or temp fix the dynomouth will help.

thanks for everyones input, it seems everyone has their own favorites so im still debating the route to go. Any route but keep the loud mouth for sure . I think i will do duals but what muffler ? money is not a problem im just not about spending a crazy amount like the GMMG cost , i have corsa on my Z and it was pricy enough so which duals do i go with

Crazy runon sentence dude, hard to understand

If you go with true duals, you'll have to decide on a muffler. One of the cheapest/loudest would be dynomax bullets. More expensive, slightly quieter (i think) and some say better sounding would be Sweet Thunder chambered, Flowmaster one chamber, Borla XR-1, etc. Search on those and see what you think. My dynomax bullets work great for my application

I would say if money isnt an issue then go with GMMG. A high percent of the members here wish they had it, love it, and even would't go back to aything else. For my 2cents I would say go with GMMG.... Rasping and crackling is something i havent heard.

I like my true duals. I would recommend them with the twisters, deep non raspy sound. I love em
