Default Need help modding my buddies 99 WS6

Im not really sure what he would want to do first. He is a m6 while im an a4 guy. I told him lid, dynomouth, short stick, and some tires to start off. What else do you guys suggest for a m6. He doesnt want to get headers.
He just wants to be faster than the most cars on the street.

he has a 99ws6, he already is faster than most cars on the street!

mods:
a lid is always a good choice - it makes a great first mod!
Headers are a must, if he seriously wants upgrade his car - ya cant avoid them forever. Im saving for them myself, Installing will be a pain, but after its done Wooohoo!

Id rather get the holley filter its a better fit. But he already said he doesnt want headers. The dynomouth will be good enough for him. He just wants to all the cheap stuff like a pulley maybe.

I would definetly go with a set of headers on the 99, it would really help out that year LS1. The 01 and 02's can stand without a set but the 99 LS1 really needs more help to breathe.

Dunno about headers being a PITA. Install went smooth on my brothers 2000ss.

Headers are always good. Sounds bad as hell with a magnaflow catback and an ORY.

Why would he waste his money. I told him to just put a bullet in the i pipe then put piping in place of his old mouth achieving the dynomouth.

And here is another vote for the headers!!! They really are a must. Since he has 6 speeds he will also want to go with some low gears (at least 4.10s)....He will feel a hell of a difference with them. Good luck with the mods and that is when the real fun begins!!!!

Depending on how much faster he wants to go then others, headers will do the job and be a fun install learning about his car! With the Lid, you really dont need a k&n fliter, a paper filter will do just fine.

I thought the dynomouth only cost like 35 bucks for the bullet muffler. You just put that in the i pipe and delete the stock muffler with piping. Is that not the dynomouth???? Seems like the cheapest horsepower to me.

Dynomouth is slp Loudmouth and a dynomax bullet muffler in place of the Loudmouth resonator...

SLP loudmouth can be had for 349 where as what im suggesting is TSP Rumbler for 299...your jsut thinking of replacing the muffler thats a big difference
