Default need help now!!!

ok well this just recently started happening. when my car gets hot i'm tlaking like after 30-45 minutes of city driving. when i come to a stop and start to accelerate my car revs to 3500-4000 rpms before shifting. if anyone could please help me on what this is i would be greatly appreciative. thanks

Tell us about your car. Year, M6 or A4 tranny, mods, etc.

Is that a delayed shift, or ar you actually giving it enough throttle to cause that?

yeah sorry guys. A4 lid, shift kit, filter, flowmaster mufflers, and fra. thats it for mods.

i use the throttle the same as i am when it shifts normal.. nothing to stiff. but not to lite either

So.... your saying its a delayed shift. The only thing I can think of is the shifter kit. Unless you forget to mention a modified or upgraded MAF. That would require the computer to be tuned for porper shifts.

i've had the shift kit for almost 20,000 miles and hasnt caused a single problem. then out of the blue this starts happening. i did have a jet MAF on but only for about a week then i switched back to stock cause of all the problems people were having. so i took it off. that was over 15,000 miles ago.
