I dunno, but it sounds pretty sweet. Post a video! You can also put spark plugs in your tips and get the flames goin a little longer

That is not a good thing. It sounds like the engine is running really rich.

sounds like you have a fuel flow problem. Check pumps, hoses, injectors ect...

We used to do something like that when I was a teenager. We'd make make two holes in the exhaust system, put a glow plug made for a diesel engine into the exhaust system after the muffler, and between the muffler and the glow plug we'd attach a thin tube so that gasoline would drip into the exhaust flow. The dripping gasoline mixed with the exhaust, got pushed to the hot glow plug, and we'd have flames shooting out the exhaust tip. I forgot all the details because it has been a few decades but I remember this much. Oh yeah, I also remember it was dangerous as hell...!

If there was unburned fuel exiting the car (running rich) and you had a spark in its path, wouldn't the car blow flames?? I think it would work if he doesn't have cats??

I'll go get my a/f and dyno graph and double check. Guy said the car was a little lean over 4 grand so we adjusted the MAFT and it was fine. Car pulls great and dynoed 385 at the wheels so the tune can't be that bad.

Anyone else?????

I thought that this was normal for any shorter straight pipes(open headers, etc...). While the ORY and Borla is straight pipes, I just wouldn't think the flames would go as far as over the axle. But then again, everyone on fast/furious shot flames when revving.
