About how much would a run on a dyno cost?

Looking to get a baseline before I start with mods.

I talked to a SVT owner here in WV. He said a place about 70 miles from where we live gives you 5 pulls for $100. I am not sure what other places would charge outside WV, may or may not be comparable.

Do you have to buy multiple runs at once?

Is there potential for a lot of variation between runs on a stock 99 SS camaro?

I would say typical would be 30-50 for 3 pulls.
Highest Ive hear was 75 for 4 runs.

Most places that i know of will let you have less pulls if you like but they dont cut the price much.

I don't believe there should not be too much variation between your runs.

I have never did a dyno with my WS6 (Shameful I know )

i paid $40 for my last tone! you only need about 2 runs!

just get in on a local dyno day. 2 or 3 pulls can be had for cheap.

EXPENSIVE???? compaired to what? would you rather pull the motor and strap it and engine dyno and spend $500+ ????

if you think thats expensive get out of the ls1 game now...

supertunes is located in overland park, they have a dyno and shop there.

putting your car on a chassis dyno, spending a few bucks, and making a few pulls is a GREAT way to see how your car is running.... not only do you get to see what your powerband looks like you can see where you make your most power and torque....
it can also tell you where you should shift and some tell you what your AFR is which is actualy most important!!!

wether its $40 or $80 its still $$$ well spent!
