Reasonable price for 02 T/A?
My ongoing search for an LS1 Formula/Trans Am has led me to a 2002 Trans Am with 42,049 miles. It's red, t-tops, auto, lthr, loaded very nice condition. It is located at a dealership about 1/2 hour away from me and they are asking $16,999. I know I can talk them down a bit so I was just wondering if that is a fair price. Now keep in mind I am located in Jersey where everything seems to be more expensive for some reason. Let me know what you think, thanks.

That sounds pretty fair. My buddy who has a dealership picked up an 01 WS6 with 39000 miles and let it go for 17,500. Maybe try offering 16,000 out the door and see how it goes. Being that it is a formula it might be cheaper than a WS6.

I live near Dayton,Ohio and the Ram Air T/As are going for no less than $20,000 for a 2002.If the miles are real low (15,000 or less) ,they are
going for 22,000 and up.I would jump on that one if i were you.

That sounds like a great deal being an 02 with only 9000 miles.
It may be near you too being it is in NJ

For 01' and 02' if it is ram air it is a WS6 (unless a firehawk) and will sell for more. A TA will not have the ram air and will sell for less. 17k is a great price for a 2002.
If financing the banks will use NADA and they show a LOW retail value just over 24k for a 2002 TA. Great find!
