Default Please, PLEASE, HELP!!!

Well long story short, I went snow boarding this weekend and left the keys to my car in my room. Only to find out that my 18 yr old brother took my car out with out asking and the car had to come home on a flat bed. I have only let him drive once before, and he knew not to touch my car but he's a JACKaXX so this is what I came home to. I don't know what he did or how it happen, all he does is lie about it. So what I know is that it doesn't drive. It will drive fine in reverse, but any other gear it just grinds and vibirates radically. It actually goes into gear fine but as soon as power is delivered it just spazzes out. Please help I'm going to pull the tranny but what is wrong??? Also does anyone know a tranny rebuild shop in So.Cali.?
By the way its a 2000 SS M6.

Kick his *** seabass! Then, to show him that you REALLY mean business, take his most prized possession and destroy it.

Bring the pain! He'll learn real quick.

Hey DMNSPD, I think you mean this one:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission-14/
His car is a manual, not an automatic.

I bet you learned a valuable lesson w/ keys & brother .next time disconnect the computer and bring your keys with you that'll stop what happened next time.if he finds the spare set it'll never start .thats what I do when i go on vacation.anyway thier could be multiple problems syncros, blocker rings, shift fork and so on.you'll never know until you take it apart.your brother probably slaimed the fuc- out of the gears, thats what I would do if it wasn't mine!it needs to be taken apart to see whats wrong .sorry about your luck!just make him pay for the rebuild!

My brother would get the beating of his life if he took my car out. He knows better.

Sounds like the gears arent staying meshed. Maybe a destroyed bearing? or broken countershaft? Whatever it is, it wont be pretty. When you take it out, open up the tranny, and post some pics. Are you makin' him pay for it?

heres what you do, pull the tranny out, disassemble it, take the output shaft and beat the living **** out of him untill he goes unconcisous and doesnt come out of it for 3 years, i believe that is the only possible solution to your problem

If he were my brother I'd make him bite the curb... Sounds like he blew your trans up.

Hard to tell until you take the tranny apart. But I'd expect to replace the synchros and sliders, and maybe even a gear or two.

sounds like your clutch is gone. That;s exactly what my mustang did when they clutch blew. Would go in reverse and actually move, but a horrible grinding noise when i tried to use first.
