Default bbk throttle body installed now ses dtc.507

I installed new bbk throttle body and now have intermittent high idle and ses light hard code 507. any advice or help appreciated.

I hear nothing but bad things about those things, I would stay with the stock one (it can handle 500hp.)

I think that code means "stay away from the aftermarket throttle bodies and just get a ported one"

I've had mine on for about 2 weeks now. No issues. I drilled a 9/64 inch hole and I idle right at 750. Definite off-idle improvement. I guess I got lucky.

Hmmm. It needs a sticker that says "Beware of broken throttle shafts". Man...check out the pics on the thread they have going on this. Wow.

So this is a common occurrence for BBK Throttle bodies? I researched this but never previously read anything about broken shafts.
