i just bought a whisper lid for my 99 camaro and i cant get the damn thing to stay clipped. it slide in to all the slots and sits on to top of the air box fine. but it keeps popping off down the road any way i can keep this from happening

push down real hard and make sure the clips snap tight is a close fit.

Try sliding the front lip of the lid into the filter tray. Good Luck

the first lid i got didnt fit worth a damn, see if you can exchange it for another and see if that works.

make sure its for your year!!! THey vary and depending on who you bought it from they could have said its for oyur year but it may be for another!!! I hate dishonest sellers, they make me wanna do burn outs on their faces!!!!

Mine did the same thing. Make sure the tabs of the lid are pushed back far enough, and the front lip of the lid is behind the lower lip of the airbox. www.installuniversity.com has a writeup for the Whisper.
