basically if the cars are in the same condition what it comes down to is tranny choice and vert or hardtop.

nobody here can make that decision for you.

Uh... yeah... I can tell you which one I'd take. If you really want a convertable, then I guess go for that, but otherwise it's the first one hands down.

I bought an A4 a couple of years ago and I actually wanted it. A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at a stop light and looked at my shifter and got sick to my stomach wishing I had got the M6. So you know what I would choose.

Well, its really up to you. If you are really into having a convertible then go with the second. if not...the first is by far the better choice.

The second one has 18,000 more miles on it, is probably going to be about a grand more, and is heavier...

But, like I said, its your choice and since you are going to be the one handing over the money and signing the title then get whichever one makes you the most satisfied.

(By the way...they're both ls1's...so not like either one is going to be a bad decision... !)

Sorry to slightly derail your thread here but how much did it cost you to do the t-top conversion and how long did it take?

What does every SS option other than hood mean? Does it have SS spoiler? SS wheels? emblems? I didn't know you could order an SS without hood

I take it the 2nd one is a real ss? If you are looking to cruze more and look for the lady's I would go with the convert. If you are looking to race more then the hardtop.
Also if you like to go to the 1/4 mile track anything faster then a 13.99 in a convert requires a rollbar.
Take time and choice right. You dont want to look back and think, did I make the right choice.

hardtop 6-speed

i hardly ever take my t-tops off, and verts arent my cup-o-tea.

might want to keep looking if you really want t-tops, find you a t-top 6 speed SS. dont cheat yourself out of a 6 speed if you really want it.

edit: 42k on a 98 is pretty damn rare! keep that in mind you probably arent going to find one any cheaper for 42k miles (any f-body). i would get that one in a heartbeat..

Lemme get this straight...less miles, M6, cheaper price, hardtop(I will NEVER own a T-tops car again, or a vert for that matter)...

Is there even a decision to be made?!
