I do believe the kelly blue book listings for retail pertain to purchasing the car from a business (dealer) and not from an individual. When you sell your car I think a good area to expect $$ wise is somewhere between the trade in and retail values. I think $13k might be a little high, start lower than that and see. While I am sure there are people out there willing to apy $14k++ for that car I'd still hope to get it for less. It sounds like it's worth the premium if you must pay for it though.
As an example of what searching around can yield my car was purchased used nearly four years ago (it's a 98 Z28 with T's and sport appearance) with only 32k miles, totally stock except for a K&N, for $14-$15k. Not sure exactly because it was trade in plus cash, but it was most likely ~$14k given the probable trade in value.

A well taken care of low milage care is always worth a little more to me than what the blue book says. And I will always be willing to sell a car for less to someone who I think will take care of it. 13K for this car seems to be a good buy, but a car can be "too" babied. 20K miles is OK as long as it was driven in decent intervals and didn't sit for too long. Ask about the driving history then go from there. If sat for too long, garaged or not, then I maybe weary of a few things. But you should be fine as long as the car was maintained according to "dealer standards". Good luck!!!

That car at your local dealer $17998-$18998 all day. Because of the low miles and the availabiltity of that car. I'll be suprised if didn't ask more because of the demand of that car. We sold one at Champion chevy 99A4 ss with 88000 miles for $14998 we were getting calls like crazy for that car. Sold for $14500. You better jump on that before and someone would beat you to it before you have time to think over happens all the time.

It was installed when I bought the car, the last owner loved the look of the WS6 hood, brough it to the dealer and had them install and paint one. Just like adding a WS9 hood... altho I'm NOT happy that they didn't re-install the gas struts as they said they didn't want to put pressure on the hood or body and have the paint crack. So I have to prop it up with the installed metal rod thing..

Edit: that definately isn't OEM. It was not the ORIGINAL equipment, which is what the O in OEM stands for if I'm not mistaken.
Edited again: However you look at it, even if it's technically OEM, it still doesn't count. You couldn't not buy a non WS6 with a ram air hood. Therefore my original statement is correct. Sorry about the

This is the exact same hood that was put on all the WS6's. This is getting way though, so let's try and stay on please

Orange - hugger orange would be a pretty rare car too right? I thought the production numbers for a hugger SS were in the single digits right? I think they only had that color in 99 too.
