Default SLP Whisper Lid?

Hailing from CA and emission laws here to dang strict, I want to replace my stock lid, but will they be ok to pass?

Use the SLp lid. It was an option on the cars from GM.

Use any lid you want, forget about CARB. These lids are so easy to swap out, you can just put the stock one back on for testing. Just get a second IAT sensor so you don't have to swap that between lids every time you need to test. Taking that sensor in and out is the only part of the lid swap that takes any time/effort at all.

Thanks, I noticed that Racing Summit offers the SLP lids cheaper than SLPonline. Just made my order.

What do ppl Do with the Vacume Hose PUMP that was on the Old stock intake box? when u put the New LId on? Located on the rite side?

You buy a breather filter for it and zip-tie the hose away from the belts. Most people buy the lid w/K&N filter and a K&N breather filter for the 2000+ cars.

I got one from New ERa performance for like 84 dollars you minght want to check their site
