You may be able to find one for that price with lesser miles if you are willing to hold off a while longer. You could get a Z28 for less then 13.5 grand. If it was me I would hold up a little bit and find an SS with lesser miles which I think you should be able too. But its really up to you.

79k is nothing on a well maintained car,if it was beat around or drag raced thats a diff story.look for signs of abuse, rubber in the rear wheel wells, chaffed rear tires, frt tires worn on the edges hard.mine has 76k on it and looks-runs like new...you couldn't tell it from a brandnew car.

I aggree its not a lot of miles but for the price -I may be wrong- you can buy a lower mile SS, say 20 thousand miles less -again not sure, but I have seen some for less with less miles. But if everything checks out then buy it.

miles are a bad sign
You cant really expect those kind of miles to go onto a car, in that time, it being a sports car without expecting to have had abuse. Though that also depends if that bothers you and you are willingo to fix up any problems. I got a 2000 trans am with 66k miles for 11k. I also rebuilt the tranny right away, so now the car is at $12,400 and I still think that its worth it.
Bottom line only you can decide if the car overall is for you. If not, there will be more.
