Pewter and Metallic Silver Are pewter and metallic silver the same colors? I know this may seem like a dumb question but I'm confused 
. I've seen f-bods of both colors and they seem almost identical.

well pewter metallic is what my car is, and silver is the lighter type.

wow that would be confusing / hard to tell!
with bad lighting my car looked like it was silver in the ebay auciton i found it at. but the guys insisted it was pewter and vin / rpo codes told the truth, when i got there to test drive it / look at it, in the sun is was definitely pewter! i love it!
Silver is the lightest of the light i would guess.
and pewter is on the other end.

like stated above...two diff colors...im some light the pewter will look silver...but if u have it next to a silver camaro...u can see the completly diff shades

- RPO 13U: 'Sebring Silver Metallic'.

I thought they were the same color until I saw them next to each other, though in the right light pewter can look like silver, it's a pretty cool color.
Excuse the crappy pics (they're from a cell phone), but you can see the color difference, Camaro is silver, T/a is pewter.

Oh, I see. I just checked the RPO codes and I guess my WS6 is pewter. I've never had it next to a silver t/a before so I've never been able to tell the difference. I originally wanted black...but then I saw a black camaro and saw all the swirl marks and I didn't want to detail it everyday. But I guess the pewter just kinda grows on you.
Ya, the pewter is almost two totally different colors when it is in the sun/shade. I like it that way.
