Default Does this seem like a bad deal?

Looking for LS1's near me and I found this one at a dealer. How does it sound/look?

Doesn't look too bad, go test drive it (I'm assuming it's local) then see how you like it (I'd offer 12,500 to start with if of course it's worth even making an offer on)

Thats a good deal imo. KBB retail pricing is 16,300 if it does not have t-tops. You can probobally find one for cheaper with that mileage though...

I was originally drawn to that color. That would be the nicest color I have ever seen on in other than black, and everybody has a black one... Thats about 4 hours away from here so if I were to drive it I would be pretty set on buying it... I emailed the dealer and told them if we could get the price closer to $13000, then I would go and talk more numbers. They emailed me back saying the lowest they would go is 14500....

Suuuuuuuure that's the lowest they'll go
Bet if you show up and tell them you'll buy it today for 13k they'll try like hell to get you in it (you may have to walk out a couple of times)

The thing is that its about 4 hours away from where I live... I would hate to go there and find something is wrong with the car, or they just wont get to the price I want...

I know what you're saying, but, on the other hand, how would you feel if you could get it to the price you wanted, and nothing was wrong with it (like this )
Hell take the chance, if it ain't what you want, what have you wasted, 4 hrs and a few gallons of gas (I drove 2.5 hrs for mine)
In the end it's up to you, keep looking, you might find one closer, or cheaper

Yeah, I just wish I could get a little bit more cooperation about the price over the internet... Maybe I will tell him if he can get it to 13 I will walk in tomorrow and buy it... Also, are the wheels on that one the 17s?

You probably won't get alot of co operation on price just from an email, it took (for me) walking in the dealership and telling them lets deal (they probably get hundreds of emails a day, and most turn out to be just tire kickers)
Look like 16s to me (they call them snowflakes)

It looks like a chevy dealer so make them give you a 3 year warranty if you can't talk them down to what you want to pay.

I saw a 2000 Z28 with 30,000 at my chevy dealer, it looked brand new and they got $13000 for it. It also sold really quick. If that car looks Brand new in the flesh I would buy it, especially since its a 2002.

My main concern is if they are Zrated from the factory or not. I don't know why I care so much, but I like knowing I can go 150+ at the drop of a hat .

Oy, I'd hate to waste my time and gas if they wont cooperate... They have the advantage of knowing I came from 4 hours away to look at it. That alone means I will pay more than the average customer. But on the other hand, if I walk out, they know they wont ever see me again so they will probably be going after me to get me to talk numbers again.

It's not so much the speed limiter, but the fact that if it has the speed limiter it also has T rated tires. I could get rid of the limiter pretty easily but all new z rated tires might cost a bit more....
