Default 80k Miles, Is it worth $8k?

Im about to buy an M6 WS6 with 80k miles. Its black and has very minor scratches and no dents. It has t-tops and is bone stock. Is it worth $8k?

I think it is as long as it was well maintained and in good shape. I would rather pay more for a higher mileage car that was well maintained then pay less for one that has been ragged on and beat to ****.

You don't say much about the condition of the car but if it's in decent shape or even if some work it needs has been identified and isn't something too serious like - maybe - frame damage or something -hellz YEAH it's a good deal! You kiddin?

Just to add something here. I would check the door code to be certain it's a WS6 and not just a clone with a hood and badge. That still wouldn't be a bad deal at all necessarily though. In my area it seems like all trans ams go for good money. Maybe your area is different but I would be suspicious of an $8,000 one myself. Check it out real well. There are threads about what to look out for with an LS1 car.

great deal. The engine will last as long if it wasn't ragged out, but the transmission and rear-end should be more of a concern.

If its in good shape thats a damn good deal. Hell thats highways robbery around my part of the country for that car! They go for easily double that price at dealers around chicago, even with 80K on the clock!

yeah, miles matter much less than the year of the car, and 8k for an m6 ls1
is a good deal regardless of miles

Man that's a great deal. Seems way to low to me, but if it has been taken care of then get it, and get it soon. That's an amazing deal.

That'd be a decent price even if it was a clone.

Sounds like a great deal! Just make sure its a true WS6, Even at that a 99 T/A with 80K for 8,000 is a good price.

Yea sunds like a good deal. Buy it and resale it for a profit if you want. Then you can get a nicer WS6!!!!!!!!!!
