Question T-tops or convertible

I am interested in buying an F body car, but I can't decide between a convertible and t-tops. This will not be a daily driver, but a 'fun' car.

Please post with your opinions on the plusses and minuses of each.

Thanks!

T-tops. convertibles are heavier, certain parts won't fit on them, etc... Just seems like more to break as well. It all really comes down to personal preference though.

Personal choice - depends on your area - T-top cars are cheaper and much easier to find.

T-Tops for sure

90% as fun as a convertable, without all the hassles. Those being more weight, less available parts, weaker structure, more expensive insurance, and less security.

T-tops. Something about verts take away from the look of f-bodies...

You'll get less wind buffeting with a convertible. Drive a t-top on the highway with tops off, then a vert top down and you'll really tell a difference.

T-top, vert's are great on a nice day but don't make up for the weight, parts that don't fit, things that break or the lack of security when some dickless wonder steals your stereo ect.

T-tops all the way. Look better on or off on the F-bods. These cars look funny to me as 'verts.

Thanks for the input. Parts not fitting a vert was mentioned a few times...what kind of parts? How much heavier are they?

Also, wind buffeting is said to be worse on the t-tops but what about wind in general between the two? I have driven a ttop car but not a convertible. Other verts (other car types) I have ridden in have ranged from very little wind to unbearable.
