Default dont hate me

first of all, i want you to all know that my heart will alway be with GM and F-bodys in particular, and everytime i lose to one ill take it like a man. however, my current sitiuation has not allowed me to get a car that i want, so, i have crossed over and bought a mustang. i currently own an S-10 pickup, but i want somthing with a little muscle, so i found a 98 mustang GT for a reasonable 3500 bucks at a car lot. it has 86k miles on it. its a decent car, and it has some muscle to get me through college on a very tight budget. as soon as i get out and get done running the everloving **** out of the pony, im gonna dump it and buy me a 4th gen SS Camaro. so dont hate me, but im crossing over for a while. any and all flames are welcome, but ill be back.

i have thought about that, only 2 problems. the best price i have found for a used LS1 and a 6 spd was around 5k. an automatic, 4k. 2. i cant take my truck off the road as it is my only mode of transportation. i absolutely love the F-bodys and have been looking for a decent one for a while now. and the only things in my price range that i have found have had the **** run out of them. thats why im banking on the mustang to feed my right foot for a while untill i can get around 10K to get me a nice Camaro SS.

well the LT1's that i found had the **** run out of them, i could have afforede a 6K LT1 f body but i searched and couldnt find a decent one that had semi low mileage (<100k) that was in good shape. i could have got a five-o but the 4.6 SOHC has much more potential. i thank you all for your support durning this trying time. i always said that i would never own a mustang, but i couldnt pass this deal up. and too 4sconcepts, i plan to drive this car like i ******* hate it. which i do.

I was pretty sure that it's the other way around...especially with the 2 valve 4.6...I could be wrong though

I would just slap a blower on it and be done. Check out the Corral message board and you will be up to speed in no time. I've had two 5.0 GTs, so no hate from me...
