Pills? what is this referring to?

Pills? Sorry if wrong forum. I have heard a few people talking about "pilling" their car, or poping a pill in it, or something like that, wtf does it mean? I have NO clue, so I don't know where to post this?

nitrous kits have what they call pills that go at the end of the line to regulate how much nitrous can be let out (i.e a 25 shot, or 50 shot.)
if it wasn't for pills in the line....you'd put a ridiculous amount of nitrous and blow your motor.

thats a nitrous jet/pill
as for the ebay pill you showed....i'm new to that one. i'm gonna guess something to do with shift light on tachs? or rev limiter on no-computer/carberated vehichles?

Yea its got me stumped too. I knew what jets looked like on n2o set ups, but im still slightly lost lol.

Those are for if you have a rev limiter or ingnition box with a rev limiter. What ever number is on the pill i.e.4000 5000 6000 thats what rpm the rev limiter is set at

those msd pills are also used in window switches when using nitrous, put a 3000 & a 6000 pill in the window switch and that sets what rpm the nitrous will be on during wot

The pills aren't referring to the jet, I've never heard of a pill and a jet being used as the same thing. Always heard of jets to control the amount of nitrous and the pills to control the rpm window of when the nitrous is activated and when it shuts down.
ie. a 100 shot jet, and a 3000 pill to turn it on and a 6000 pill to turn it off. Jets are in the nitrous kit. Now the pills are only used if you have a window switch.

the other pill is the "gas milage pill" but it's nothing but a hoax.somebody figured theirs a sucker born every minute and there taking them to the cleaners.
