Default Finally my '99 Camaro Z28 M6

As a few of yall know I was selling my black Tahoe on here and I finally sold it and got a replacement. I bought a 99 Camaro z28 (black with 6 speed) and I finally feel like i fit in here with a more "muscle" oriented ride.

Mods done so far (had exhaust when i got it only)
New power window motors
Billet Grill
Halo Headlights
Clear Corners
Pro 5.0 Shifter with UMI short stick
LID

Mods to come soon:
SubFrame Connectors
Z06 rims 18x9.5 and 17x8.5 with 275/35 and 245/45 respectively.
Lowering Springs with adjustable Panhard bar

I am still waiting on my Z06 rims and tires to go on and I should be getting tint this week or next. So far I love it. Let me know what you think guys.

P.S. Those tips are getting hacked off so don't worry about that.

You sir, have a very nice looking car. Makes me wish I had an LS1 Trans Am of my own right now.

As far as your rims go, its gonna look great on the Z28 but, I really think you should put bigger tires in the back, like perhaps 305s and maybe 285s in the front.

But either way, soon one will be mine and I can finally join the group. Heh...I am in the f-body group, just not in the "making some hp" group.

why do you suggest that? I got the skinnier tires in the front so that they don't track with the road as bad, and I thought that the widest tire to mount on a 9.5 was between 275 and 285?

Did you go with the tires you said earlier? Where did you get 17x8.5 ZO6's? Car looks good, and I honestly think the chrome halos look better than the black, they dont make it so apparent that they do not flow with the hood at all.

those aren't the same tires. Those right there are bald drag radials that I got with the rims. I am still waiting for discount to get my 275/35 BFG KDW NT's in right now. once they get in (should be tuesday) they will be slapped on.

I got the rims from a buddy and he said they were OEM take offs and that is the size i was told they were?

i usually like black halos better, but the chrome looks great on that car with the rims and clear corners. so id keep what you got.

You are right on the OEM sizes, I was just asking if you went with the sizes you said. Those aren't OEM take offs though, Chrome wheels were never offered on ZO6's. They maybe from company called O.E. wheels though, as thats where my ZO's came from when I had them.

well if that's the case I am a little pissed about buying these then, cause i was under the impression they were OEM which is why i paid what I did for them. Very interesting. I am pretty sure that there were Chrome z06's
