Default Weight of TA

The sticker on the inside of the door of my TA says my weight is 4263lbs. Is this empty weight? What weight is this? also it says weight beside it somthin like fw 2131 ...rw2122. I have a 1998 Trans Am. Fully loaded. Every option....i think lol Anyways someone wanna clarify this for me? Thanks!

Thats the total weight the car is designed to carry.

I've heard rumors that actual weight at 3/4s a tank of gas, sans driver, is around 3680(T/A WS6, m6).

oooooo ok that makes more sense. So the only way to know how much your car weighs is to o actually weigh it?

Basically, yeah.

Almost any metal yard will work.

Or truckers weigh station.

Normally I just pop my front tires on the scale, look at the digital read out, pull the whole car up, recheck read out, and drive away.. Noone has ever asked. :p

thats gross vehicle weight with full passengers.

Fbodys weigh usually around 3400+ driver and gas.

Thats what I thought was around 3350-3550 but the sticker confused me cause all i've ever heard bout it is...look at the sticker, thats how much it weighs. Thanks for clarifying it for me

I took mine to a truck stop. It's a 2000 WS6 M6, every option, Kenny Brown SFC's and Hotchkis STB. Weighed 3560 with 3/4 tank. Hope this helps.

My 2000 firebird weighed in @ 3800lbs loaded, on a commercial scale.

mine weighed somewhere near 3600 with me in it at the track. Mines a z though and a vert. But its got pretty much every option as far as a Z is concerned.

i think ur car weighs about 3200 lbs without u in it.

what makes u say that will? She definatly weighs more than that, maybe not quite 3600, but closer to that than 3200. are u mad cause shes a vert and faster than urs?J/K

My 99 TA weighed 3580 ish at the track 1/2 tank
